It perfectly preserves the feeling of being at home, since it counts only five inviting rooms with ocean view, all of which have air conditioning, ceiling fans, king size beds with very comfortable mattresses, two armchairs and a table with two chairs. There is a minibar, coffee maker and water jug. And a terrace with a hammock so you can relax in the refreshing sea breeze.
The bathroom, with 100% Mexican finishes, is exquisitely beautiful. And its amenities are made with local biodegradable products.
It is an ideal place to relax, study and take classes. All the facilities offer free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The menu includes eggs, sandwiches and fruits with delicious homemade granola, for an affordable price, in a spacious dining room decorated with rustic furniture and very comfortable.
Its hosts are what truly make this hotel special: Australian-born Catriona Brown, who came to this place in 2002 for a couple of days of relaxation, and felt that Puerto Morelos was the town for her and decided to stay. She is always willing to share her home with those who have an open heart and gives excellent advice whenever visitors have questions for her. And Liz, from South Carolina, always with a big smile and a great willingness to help everyone who comes to CASA CARIBE, whether they come for a stay or to shop in her wonderful store.
The store of this cozy hotel has all kinds of objects to buy, from a nice souvenir, a craft, to a good molcajete that will serve you to make some of the delicious recipes that you will learn if you decide to take the cooking classes. The classes begin at 10 am and end with an exquisite meal at 3 pm, prepared by each of the members who have participated in the course.
